TITLE: The Book of One Man Deadcropped-edgerton_thebookofonemandead1.jpg
CAT# (YEAR COMPOSED): 83 (2009)
PREMIERE BY: Timo Kinnunen at the  9th International Festival Creative in Hidegaya, Tokyo at Kanagawa Hall on 31 May 2009
NOTE: The title comes from the first part of the novel Ancient Evenings by Norman Mailer – a book that’s complicated and demanding, of which The Times said of the book “is violent, sexual, and scatological, demands concentration of attention…..”. Well my piece isn’t scatological, and doesn’t seem particularly sexual and only marginally violent – though it is very dramatic and hopefully more grabs than demands attention.Written for Timo Kinnunen
