My compositions are influenced by the study of voice science, psychoacoustics and ethnic music that utilize unusual sound production methods, such as with the subharmonic singing of the Xhosa (South Africa), or central Asian bowing techniques.

The methods and systems I develop are often based on science; however, the more neutral they remain, the better they serve my imagination. Although my music is highly technical, it is my intuition – my ear that gives birth to the music.
