The idea behind “Mit Unulgn…” had to do with Berenice II of ancient Egypt, the daughter of the King of Cyrene. In this story, Berenice’s first marriage to Demetrius the Fair was terminated by his murder when he was caught in flagrante delictu with Berenice’s mother Arsinoe/Apama.
